Screenshot question.

I`m not sure of the copyright issues regarding screen captures, but I`m sure it shouldn`t / wouldn`t be a major issue if the screen shot was merely for private use on a desktop.
My problem is, there are a couple of loading screen shots, and one in particular, from FO2 tht I really want to use as desktop wallpaper, but there just doesnt seem to be any way of "grabbing" them?
I`ve used the PrtScreen function in Windows, and I`ve used a freeware screen capture program with a delayed capture timer...but every time, the screen image is predominantly black, or distorted colours.
Anyone have any idea of a way around this?

Thank you in advance

I think you can screenshot most, if any part of the loading screens with the game's internal screenshot utility (forget where in the game's directories it saves them), but F12 will take a screen capture.

I've done the same, with the pulp comic loading screen from Fo1, then putting it into a smaller format for the desktop.

Thanks Roshambo.

I tried your suggestion, and the F12 button is definitely the one for saving static screenshots, but sadly, it doesnt work on the load sequence shots.
It merely saves the data from the image, but displays it as a predominantly black screen.
I did however find someone over at the Duck and Cover forums who had the particular image I was looking for, so the bulk of my quest is now resolved.
Now I`m just left with the unanswerable question as to WHY this method wont work with the loading screens.
