I hope this is the right board I'm posting on, and please don't kill me if I'm wrong. Just try to re-direct me?

Whenever I try to snap a screenshot in the game (using the Print Scrn SysRq button) and then paste it in any art program (Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Paint, Corel Draw, tried them all) I only get a black screen with a bit of fuzz. Any way to take a better screenshot? I've tried brightening the game, didn't work. Is it my computer, or is there a program? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
 
During the game just press F12. Screenshots of movies and the intro and such will have to be taken with a screen capturing programme however.
 
F12 doesn't even copy the screen, on my computer.

Maybe there's a way to brighten the game?
