(ooc) This is the new Thread continuing from Dutch's.

Aerakade graciously takes the ammo, but has his own hunting rifle with a scope, and it's a very prized possession of his, he takes the ammo in exchange for about $400 bucks which he pays for the ammo (NO MATTER WHAT-seeing as how he's a man of virtue) He looks at the de-cloaked BOS guys, checks to see if he recognizes any of them besides Fang since he's quite popular with the BOS, for helping a squad or two of them out with finding "Area 51" and returning the one surviving member of the squad to a BOS base after they destroyed it.

He gradually re-loads his rifle not paying much attention to the events taking place, he looks around and than walks off about twenty feet and sits down, just relaxing.
 
Dutch not being part of the BOS nor wishing to be wanders over to Aerakade.

Hey, I talked these guys into busting these slavers, but you just came along. Any particulair reason , or why your so attached to that rifle? You know a sniper rifle would be better , range and damage, stopping power on a sniper rifle is pretty good.


(also before they left the slaver base)

Sets the slaves free, and grabs a rocket launcher with half a dozen rockets, a Avenger Mini-gun , Combat Armor MKII Power Fist, Super Cattle Prod, and some stimpacs, some of the stimpacs he uses, and than heads out with the others.

OOC: Hey guys, I hope you dont mind me getting in on this, my character is a crime lord, the biggest in the wasteland, i expect him to be bad, but dont worry i wont try to kill any of you, just piss your characters off, anyway, he can talk his way into or out of anything to get what he wants...oh and he speaks with an english acsent like all great villians, check out "crime is the way of life" that explains everything, oh and join in too!!

A man dressed in a silver siut with silver hiar steps into the slavers base with three of his henchmen. He raises his eyebrow.
Delmont- hmmmm, were have all the slaves gone, i was suppose to collect my money today?
*Delmont looks around and notices a man collecting ammo and weapons, he notices another group of men walking out of the base*
Delmont- look what we have here....
Henmen1- want us to kill them boss?
Delmont- no, no, he looks like hes with the brotherhood of steel, *chuckles* I rather not have the brotherhood breathing down my neck!! they already think im helping them. Come.....will fallow, they must be up to something big, and if it involves money, then id like to...how they say, jump on the wagon!!
Henchmen- well i think they say....
Delmont- Shut up, i hate when people correct me, come, lets go, we dont want to lose them!!
*Delmont and his three henchmen fallow the group...*

The others look for some time and they eventually make out the men. Fang seems to have very good eye-sight probably thanks to some BOS operation on his head.

*He points over at the group who have turned and are looking straight at them*
Delmont-I think they've spotted us. Men this is what your gonna do...

OOC: Sorry if my last post seems rather odd i kinda got in a mix about where i was posting some stuff so i would have removed it. But it does make a bit of sense i mean we don't really know the deal with each other's characters any way.

Upon seeing the newcomers Dutch drops into the tall weeds (remember he and Aerakade are 20 ft off or so sitting down), he checks it out, Aerakade also does so through the scope in his Hunting Rifle, Dutch looks through some binocs and checks for any slaver markings, he also loads an explosive rocket into his newly acquired toy as he looks at the group, he's positive he could take a few henchmen out, incase they come out hostile; he is quite stealthy, stealth-ish enough that none of the others, despite Brother-hood implants or whatever would do.

(Is there any organization that is really anti-post-war-tech? Just curious, but I'd laugh after they met with Fang; everything about the damn guy is altered by something.... or so it seems to me anyway, however I don't have a problem with it as long as the cloaking and anti-gravity weapons are kept minimal.)
 
Another-new-comer

*one of the henchemen throws of a large over-coat*

(a different Henchmen) "Hey that's not Simmons!"
(Mank)" No shit Sherlock."
(yet another different Henchmen)"Who are you?!"
(Mank) "Name's Mank, Simmons died from Radscorpian posion, I had nothing to do with it honest." He gives a re-assuring grin.

He looks at the group, oblivious to those in the weeds, and dusts his tuxedo off. (looks Kinda like AHS-9)

(Mank addresses the group) "Gentlemen , my name is Mank, at your service, I'm a man who knows how to get things , anything you could ever possibly want, you seem more than capible of handiling yourselves, but perhaps I could be of assistance to anyone of you."

(Upon finishing his sentence he turns his back to the Gangsters and walks towards Rad and Reptile, seeing as how they are a tone down so to speak , from the Gangsters who've got enough adreniline to charge a Highwayman, and Fang whom could power New Reno with everyone on and in his right hand (so it seems) and smiles as he takes a swig of RotGut , he than offers the bottle to Rad and Reptile, lets them both take a swig or two if they want, and than he relaxes)

As soon as Fang realises there could be a possible danger he turns on his Stealth boy and dissapers among the shadows. He looks out a Delmont coming ever closer. He starts to get worried. He is a heavily armed troop who can defend himself or sneek off under cloak but he is slightly concerned against EMP grenades taking out his armour so he can't move and elimnate his weapons. Fang's squad seems to havve gone off somewhere probably to go back to base. Fang sneeks off from the group and creeps towards Delmont. He draws his turbo plasma rifle and aims at Delmont. He fires but it is such a distance even with his excellent vision he misses completly but alerts them that there is a danger present. Fang then goes and climbs up a nearby cliff and watches for the next move that Delmont is due to make. He listens carfully (implants in ears) to the groups converstion. He readys all his weap[ons readt to attack

OOC: Cloaking is thanks to a stealth boy which lots of brotherhoood agents own.

Fang please i wont be unfriendly and i dont dislikie u at all i am sure u are a grea guy BUT STILL this is a POSTNUCLEAR RPG WORLD not some sort of Sci Fi Predator Clone i can accept u having some Brotherhood stuff but all those cloaking thinges anty gravity weapons and such its just to much Sci-Fi and to little POStnuclear....... IMHO of course.....

hey i make myself powerufl but because of that all the opponents are powerful. Anti-gravity weapons tend to over load and fail a lot and Fang only has access to those when near to Brotherhood bases which are few in number the reason for this is those things use up so much fuel it would cost millions to move them far. The stelth boy MKII is about the most advanced device he has. The solar pistol hardly hurts. the rifle is from fallout 2 lots of people have 'em. I only used the anti-grav thing to get to the rest of the group so i could re-join in on the story instead of being all alone. The stealthboy is the only REAL brotherhood super device he has except the implants and operations.

Fang- I'm on the same boat with Reptile , your not bad or anything but I'd just like to point out (how you said lots of people have super weapons)

I myself have three items , Combat Armor MKI , Hunting Rifle , .223 pistol.

It seems as

Dutch has a Mini-gun , Rocket Launcher , Combat armor MKII

(Sorry for any mix up below , but R names aren't my speciality.)

Reptile has and M-16


Rad has an OIWC.

Now the armor, the weapons (besides anti-gravity)are fine by me anyway, but implanted seeing and hearing and the 'STEALTHBOY' are a bit much.

Seems as everyone is making an opininated statement , and though I joined just lately , I read all of the previous posts on both threads, and the weapons and armor is fine with me personally , the implants seem a bit much , because of all the radiation and decay in the air, having surgery preformed would seriously lower you life span (to like two years) brotherhood or no. Anyway just my veiw.

OOC: I only used items from either Fallout 1 or 2 the implants were avalible from the BOS no one complained them unrealistic neither did anyone about the stealth boy. I can only use it slightly or Fang would get a lot of radiation. I also use high-tech items to develop the story but there usally 1 off items anyway can we stop debating and carry on with the story...

Smaug, who has been hanging in the background for quite a while, realizes how edgy things are getting and draws two Glock 26s, small, completely black pistols with square barrel ends from their holsters at his hip.
He turns to Reptile:

"Looks like we might have a firefight on our hands..."

Decides he's never been the hiding type , he checks Fang's position on the cliff, and fires a shot out of his scoped hunting rifle, it misses Fangs hand barily but does so intentionally , a warning shot.

Aerakade than walks over by Smaug
"Hey pal long time no see."
"Smaug last time I saw you was in some town before that big river."
(Aerakade) "Yeah that Jack guy , shotgun whatever, turned out quite hostile , he captured me before you guys got outta town , I made my way out with minimum damage to the enclave and myself, and gave up my foolish quest."
"Smaug, seems as we have other problems on our hands now."

Fang is lying on the cliff. He is not sure exactly what the situation is. Ity looks to him like theres an open camp of raiders ahead. Raiders ready to die. Fang also sees a group of civillians, a group of slaves and a man with Henchman weapons drawn and approaching. Fang has his Solar weapon eady and has taken a shot at the henchmen. he then looks up to the fading sun and realises that he just took the last shot he's gonna get out of theat pistol until the morning. He draws his turbo plasma rifle and then he realises that most of his ammo is back at base. He checks the rest of his inventory. His brotherhood solar stealth boy MKII is out of solar power and his backup is at base. At least his power armour is working. At least for now. He is gonna have to use his ammo sparingly. He checks to see what other weapons he has. he has a gauss fifle but that isn't loaded with much ammo. He also has a smal 10mm Brotherhood silenced vairiation of the pistol. That too is low on ammo and barley damaging. he can't work out why he didn't stash more weapons in his pack. or at least more ammo. He isn't gonna do much shooting. he checks to see if he has any small energy cells. He's in luck.

He finds some cells stuffed in a secret pocket of the power armour he is wearing. Even though he probably has the best weapons in the group he still feels he needs to get some stuff a whole lot more technical and powerful. (His greediness is probably due to him originally growing up in vault city and then moving to NCR before joining the Brotherhood at the age of 15, Didn't know that about my guy did you.)

He decides that with the power cells he might be able to get one last burst out of his Stealth boy hopefully enough to run up to Delmont's henchmen and hide near them. He loads it up climbs down the cliff and runs. he has about 20 seconds left on it and it will probably burn it up so that Fang will have to make some precise adjustments back at base. he charges and fires a shot out of his rifle and knocks down a henchmen. The badly burned guard stands back up and fires back at the invisible attacker. The group of soldiers (to Fang's point of view) fire their weapons straight bck at him. One blast from some type of rifle hits him but he doesn't take damage. But it shows the enemy where abouts to aim for. Another blow hits Fang but this time it's a high burst of energy closly followed by the reign of super powerd Avenger bullets right at Fang. Fang's stealthboy packs up and he drtops out of cloak and falls to the ground damaged by the radiation that the energy burst gave him fro m the stealth boy. he is nearly knocked unconcious as he falls to the floor. Luckily Reptile covers him and shoots at the Henchmen. Aerakade fires and so does Smaug. There fire has little accurcy in the late evening of the battle. they barely damage the henchmen but a few shots hit. Fang is able to raise his weapon and get a couple of good hits as he is at closer range then the rest of the group. They then notice that delmont the guy that doesn't look like a Henchman has dissapeared. Fang isn't concerned with this as much as staying alive. He jumps up and tries to make a run for a nearby rock that he was originally aiming for. he jumps behind it just as another round of Avenger ammo hits him. His armours pretty bad but he reckons he could throw a couple of knives st the enemy. This is mainl;y due to his fall from radiation. He decides first to through a grenade. he then realises after relising the grenade that he won't be able to through the knives now so he relises several shots from his rifle.

OOC: we now need Delmont to show up and post something about where his character went and what his henchman do in return to Fang's attack. i made Delmont run away because i can't really kill of his character but i can still have a firefight. And the next person in our group to post anything could have the raiders do something. They probably will join in on the battle. Also i've tried to make my character a little less high-tech. If you read "Liberated by Rangers" By smaug (New character called Lance.) you'll see my guy shows up in a leather jacket!!! But i can't suddenly step down. I'll probably make my stealthboy break or something. Although it is quite useful in the stories. If you read things like "the arrival of Arcanum" (I think it's called) You'll see that my character arrives by decloaking fro mhis stealth boy. Also when i refer to my "Rifle" his Turbo plasma rifle is what he calls a "Standard" rifle. and Fang also thinks that Deolmont's Henchman are soldiers. I apoligise if this OOC: note was a bit too long but i just felt i should get the point across of me being a little less high-tech.

Delmont- *Delmont smiles* well now that we got that out of the way, what are you people doing out here any way...

Fang: In my opinion the longer stories are more epic, so if you wanna why not?.

Delmont- I rarily do this but no , Aerakade does NOT say that you are no good and does NOT say that behind your back. I rarily do this but that is 100% against the hole concept of my character, and it's not your fault because you don't know my character.

Aerakade looks back at the others and than looks at Delmont, than introduces everyone except for Dutch and Fang who are kind of oddballs, and Mank too.
Also instead of answereing the question he waits for someone else too.
