Exclusively for our fans, we've prepared a Christmas gift. In our Download we've put a new wallpaper, prepared by one of our graphic artists - Benedykt Szneider - acclaimed author of the "Diefenbach" album (edited in Poland and France), well-known a character in the world of comic art.

That's some kind of Polish word-play isn't it?
 
I have no idea who the hell Benedykt Szneider is, but honestly who gives a damn?

The artwork is quite detailed, but I have a problem with the characters on the left and the snow. The black outlines make the characters look far too cartoonish when contrasted against the rest of the picture, and the black outlining of the snow looks terrible.

It's like he was getting tired after the scaffolding, ruins, and gasmask guy, so he looked around shiftily and inarticulately grunted "fuckzt ity, noabozdy isz goiithng tzo loooykzi aet thtisz anuywvayski" and just went over the remaining lineart with a few multiply airbrush passes. Thus instead of post-apocalyptic, the remainder ended up looking like something out of G.I. Joe. Such a waste when compared with the quality of the rest of the wallpaper.

The link is FUBARed because it misses "&cat".

But you're right. The black outline totally destroys the effect.

Rosinski I know, but he only got famous because he lived in Belgium, worked in Brussels and wrote his comics together with Belgians.
 
The machine guns looks so "not there". I like the overall quality, but as said before. It looks like it?s gathered from four different pictures. I don?t mind the black outline that much (sure, it could be better without), but there is too much difference.

There is like two person that look the same (kinda) and then you have one guy who's wearing desert gear instead of winter gear. Hmm...


Other than that. Nice.

He should have skipped the chars and painted a small camp there instead. Without the chars it's one hell of a picture. I really like the destroyed buildings in the bottom left corner.
