Seeking help with descoping magnums

Well I've got this far:

Adding 0X025b5b gets you the scopelesss .44 but there are a few problems:

It uses a hideous texture by default

Invalidating:
Textures\weapons\1handpistol\magnumpistol.dds
Textures\weapons\1handpistol\1stpersonmagnumpistol.dds

Fixes this but breaks the .32. If anyone could tell me how to go about fixing this it would help a lot?

It's based off the original .44 from the mysterious stranger so you cannot:
Repair it, Sell it, Give it away, Pick it up after dropping it.


Help on these problems would be appreciated.
 
I've never seen a scopeless one in the game but player.additem 50F92 will get you one

it's a little buggy though (check out the damage rating) :shock:

Yea, I'm aware. That's the mysterious stranger's it's the magnum used by the guy in the perk. As far as I'm aware there's not an unscoped version in the game.

The little mod above is basically that with fixed damaged values, but it seems to make use of the .32 textures or something and is unsellable etc. I have no idea how to fix this as I believe it's all hex stuff.
