Seeking new font so "i" letters will be dotted

First time out of the vault
I need the new font for fallout 2.

I think ages ago I somehow managed to find a patch for f1 (but fonts are probably the same in f1 and f2) with the fallout font modified so there are dots over "i" letters, what greatly increases readability. Sadly, I don't seem to be able to find it now, and absence of dots in my 1.02d patched US version make reading anything a painfull process and ruins the gameplay.

I'm sure someone deeper involved in modding the game obviously know the name of patch I know the location of the properly modified font.

Please help.
 
I have never seen that patch to change the fonts, but there is a program at Team X files that may allow you to do it yourself. Of course, you will have to find where/what the font file you want to edit is first.

The read me files for both programs I looked at are in Russian. "FSB_0.21" crashed when I tried to open any of the .AAF files. "fonedit1.0" is a command line program.
 
Thanks for answering my not-so-well-asked question, it seems, I found the solution. The fonts are from the polish version of Fallout 1, they are probably modified further than the dots above the i letters, because they had to have some polish letters added, but that never stopped them from working for me in original fallout 1, so I expect they will allow me to go thru the epic adventure of fallout 2 (us version).
