Short Film

It Wandered In From the Wastes
I made this about 10 months ago and just realized I never posted a link to it here. This was for a film production class I took last fall. It's the first in a quasi-PA trilogy, all based on different historical characters. They all have to do with exploration, technology and architecture.

Hopefully you guys will like it. It was shot on 16mm with an Arriflex at an old fort in Maine, near Popham Beach.

Wow...your work is nothing short of amazing, I love the dark ambient music. Your intro reminded me of Chris Marker's short film LA JETEE.

Please keep those short film coming.

Wow! Thanks! La Jetee is a tremendous film... thanks for the comparison! I have a few other works that are digitized. There's one on my YouTube page called For Birdie that I like pretty well. My longest I haven't uploaded yet, but your comment makes me think I should. Thanks again.

Hard to say, really. Two years of school? I suppose that's the best answer. I've been working with film now for about 3. Thanks for your compliment!

Nice work. My pathetic connection wouldn't let me see much of it but nice shooting. What kind of camera did you use? The only 16mm I've been doing has been silent films on a Bolex.

I dunno if you've seen the thread on my ongoing side project, a near feature lenth post-nuke video. Being a side project, it's been going for a hell of a long time but it's getting close to done.

PS:
Where do you go to school? I'm in year 3 at Fitchburg State, a little north/east of Boston.
