Lets say that you knew you where going to be warped to the fallout universe in 2161 (The time of fallout one), say like the TV show Terra Nova) but you could bring items with you. (lets say 10,000 USD worth of gear) what would you bring with you to the wasteland?

A sleeping bag. Couple guns and ammo. And the rest canned food, water, and cartons of cigarettes that I would trade for mad caps and items that only exist in the FO world.

Sleeping bag is a nice touch, pistols, shotgun with ALOT of shells. A pack of canned goods, a nice jug of purified water. And if we could chose what region we'd like to be in, I'd pick the Mojave. The Capital Wasteland is my favorite, but its way to dangerous.
