Simple Fallout1 Help question... (Ammo)

First time out of the vault
So, I have a crappy lil 10mm Pistol, yet I have no idea where to find ammo...
I need a source that replenishes it's supply...
Im running out of bullets here, and once im totaly out...*gulp*
 
Ahh good, I just got into vault 15. Is there lots of 10mm JHP ammo there? And any shops that sell/replenish it? I dont know what i would do w/out ammo..i think javelin is 5 st required and i have 4...
 
cant remember what is at vault 15, i know there is some decent *starting* stuff, maybe even a better gun. i just know there is a bit of stuff there to help you. but you will need rope, however, just a warning :)

Junktown and the Hub definately sells ammo... and they do replenish from time-to-time IIRC.
 
Javelin? Haven't heard that expression, ever; You're not playing an English version, are you? ;)

Anyway, explore the Radscorpion Caves in Shady Sands to find a little temporary supplies; Don't worry, though, once you get to the second town, you'll have plenty. And yes, there will be shops.

But it's more fun to loot ammo in pre-War bunkers :look:

EDIT: Yes, there is a better gun and an apparel. You can buy the rope from Aradesh, I think, or it was laying somewhere around the village.
 
Javelin..spear...spiky sharp thingy. I dont know what its called...
Anyways ive sent some saved games into the towns for exploration..ive only got a lil ammo on me but im hoping i ca scavenge something out of vault 15
 
do the merchants in the hub replenish their stocks, cuz i was thinking of buying alot of ammo there.

Back on topic though... 10mm SMG and a Leather Jacket are in V15 I believe.
 
Yeppers, I got the SMG...very nice weapon :)

But shortly after, I just got my hands onto a hunting rifle :)
But...I'm 1 STR to short... ;(

Welsh, your advice sucks :P Strength is likely the most expendable stat in Fallout - given it can easily be bolstered by 4 points (You should have an ST 8 towards the game end) and that any drwabacks can be compensated easily (Strong Back + High PE + weapon skills)

Nope, only two people do that - Killian (in a limited way) and the librarian.
 
Well..then I have a problem.
I have all this stuff..shot guns, leather jackets, armor, yet I have nowhere to sell it! The trader dude in the hub (the guy with the motion sensor and the giger counter) doesnt have lots of money and i squeezed everything I could out of killian...Where can I sell my stuff?

EDIT: I could buy something, then sell my stuff to him to get my money back...but I dont really want to do that :/

(Beth, the gun trader, has about 1000-1200 caps each time you talk to her, so sell your stuff one gun at a time, leave conversation, re-enter, )repeat
 
Monkey poo...I cant get any JHP ammo for my 10mm smg...
Oh well..anyway im switching off to the hunting rifle.
That is a good choice isnt it?
But I need power armor...is it in the hub..cuz i need 1 STR
