Hmm, this isn't anything major..just something I'd like to see done. Random encounters in Fallout 2 were all....eh, most were unrealistic, the ones dealing with deathclaws, radscorpions and the like, Every random encounter dealing with animals (except for dogs, wolves, etc) all had.... dum dum dum, Five of that animal(or was it 6?). Regardless that's kinda retarded in my book, while it may be easier to gain xps that way I like a little variation. Everything everywhere doesn't wander in packs of 5, Smaller and bigger bunches would be more realistic when it came to animals.
In Fallout 1 you never knew... Random ammounts of creatures, sometimes 4 or 5, sometimes 1. I also liked little things.. like being able to stumble across a random dead body and ganking their gear. There wasn't anything like that in Fallout 2... Just creatures in groups of 5, Special Encounters, and the oh-so-predicable human encounters that happened around certain cities... New Reno= Those yaka-whatever, mobsters, gangs...AND ALL ALWAYS HAD THE SAME GEAR! There aren't 50 Billion 4 or 5 grouped gangs all with exactly the same junk, It might take a while but couldn't they give completely different people, different gear? Different Hps? After playing the game a couple of times the Awareness perk becomes pretty useless, You can almost know for sure the Hp and what the person is carrying based on what they look like, because It never changes from encounter to encounter. Once you kill something it should be dead, But no no no.. you run into the same thing a few days later, and... wow, It's their twins...and magically have the same gear as their fallen brothers and sisters..and wow..same hp too...
Ok, I'm done bitching..Heh, comments?
