Slag quest from Jo.

So, I arrived to Modoc and the first thing I do is ask Jo about ze almighty GECK. But then I choose the dialogue option which leads to him telling me to piss off and when I talk to him again, I can't ask him about the GECK.

Last time I was playing FO2 I also chose the dialogue option which leads to Jo telling me to sod off. Except back then, I could ask him about the GECK again and get the Slag quest.

So am I missing something here, or is Jo bugged or what? Cheers for any help in advance.

I suppose the concept of CHA and INT scores are as much of a mystery to you as the concept of reading the stickies before posting.

Uh-huh.

Both my characters had the same CHA and INT values, which I probably should have mentioned in the first post. And actually I did read the sticky prior to posting, but the thing about posting all the relevant info just slipped my mind I guess. And search didn't give me any answers.

Also, can Ghost Farm be discovered just by going to the spot in the world map?

The 'small' locations have to be given to you in all cases I believe. Ghost Farm is no exception.
