So I was at my local blockbuster...

First time out of the vault
Hi everyone, this is my first time posting here, so I apologize if this has been mentioned in another thread, but I used the search feature and couldn't find a clone thread, if there is one, I'm real sorry if you all already know about it.

Yesterday, I was in my the blockbuster video in Fort Wayne Indiana, (US), and while I was walking through the video game isle looking for a preowned game worth buying, overhead there was a TV show-casing the newest releases that you could pre-order from them. They were playing a video for Saints Row 2, so I didn't pay much attention to it, but soon after I heard a familiar song..

"Stars shining bright above you
Night breezes seem to whisper "I love you"
Birds singin' in the sycamore tree
Dream a little dream of me"

At first it just didn't register, but then I soon realized that, I know this song and I know that voice, and that sure as hell have heard it before.

And when I looked up to see what it was playing, that's when my jaw hit the floor. It was a video clip for fallout 3, but they were playing the video NMA made to showcase what Vanburen looked like before it was scrapped, and I mean the same exact video. Song, and all. At the bottom left in red letters, it had fallout 3 with the expected release date under it.

I didn't see the beginning so I don't know if they removed the NMA splash screen or not, but I thought it would be interesting to share this. Would have been cool to have fallout 3 on an isometric view though heh.

Anyways, if this has been posted before, a thousand apologies.

Oh, and in case anyone here is from the Fort Wayne Area, the Blockbuster on Jefferson Road. I just study here (from canada originally) so i'm not so good with street names around here still.

Success. My NMA logo is being broadcasted across America's televisions.

BOW, MORTALS!

And seriously: Someone, somewhere, fucked up bigtime. How could they mistake VB's tribute video with Bethesda's official trailer?

Because they hire stupid people to do those things. How could they mistake FOE concept art for terrorist propagand, or the usual defonten art as FOE's art... people are stupid, and in the mean time, not so stupid people (i.e.: us) get a bonus :D

Way to go NMA! This may have some pretty funny concenquences somewhere, people seeing Van buren and sayin' "it looks like shit, won't buy", and bethesda get's hurt. On the other hand, it may have the precise opposite effect, people sayin' "hey a real fallout game!!!" and buying it only to find it's oblivion with guns... Ahah.

That's if gamers nowadays knew what a real Fallout game is supposed to be.
