First time out of the vault
suddenly BOS outcast was attacking me, when before they're friendlies.

what happened ?

oh, and Fort Constantine, does the BOS outcast there also hostile from the start or what ?
 
You probably accidentally shot one of them in a fight. Happened to me, I reloaded most recent savegame.
 
They attack you if you, at any time, attack one of their patrols or break into Ft. Independence. Even if you are hidden, they still turn hostile. You can also cause them to attack you through conversation in one case.
 
oh, damn.. and I thought we can talk to the outcasts before choosing them to be our ally or enemy..

You can. It's just that [spoiler:a96f580588]if you act like a jackass when talking to Defender Morgan, they instantly turn hostile. She's fine with the sarcasm option, though.[/spoiler:a96f580588]

I love that they have fingers on their corpses but when you kill them you LOSE karma :crazy: :crazy:

Look, I'm cool with losing karma form them. In fact I very much like that. But if I'm gonna lose karma, at least gimme a friggin EAR!!!

Or accidently one of your shots went trough the air, and a bullet or few hit Outcast's armour, which was like miles from you.

Outcast1: WTF? Who was that?

Outcast2: Probably that 101 kid again.

Outcast1: SOAB, he's gotta pay for that!
 
damnit, I dont remember ever hitting any of outcast members, maybe from a stray bullet or something.. damn.. ==
 
Are you sure about that? I already killed several of those guys because of the armor (jericho can wear it), but every new patrol of outcasts is still neutral to me (until I jump them for loot)
