Some original Fallout weapon sounds

It Wandered In From the Wastes
I'd like to use some original Fallout 1 and 2 weapon sound effects in Fallout 3, but I've encoutnered some problems converting them. I used ACMConv to convert all the Fallout 2 sounds to wav files, but when I try playing them they are immensely sped up. Of course, I could manually slow the sounds down... but the additional problem is that the filenames of many of the sounds are not very self explanatory, so I don't know which sounds to convert. (When sped up it can be quite hard to tell one gun sound from another.)

I'm especially interested in the energy weapons, such as laser pistol, laser rifle, plasma pistol, pulse pistol and pulse rifle sounds. Could perhaps someone tell me the filenames so I can figure out which ones are which and convert them?

Alternatively, is there a list somewhere, which says what sound files are used for what?

Ah, I tried using acm2wav to convert the sounds but I can't seem to convert multiple files. I think %i is supposed to be a wildcard that stands for multiple files, and the instructions say to use acm2wav %i -m but when I try that it says "converting %i to %i.wav" and then Error: File not found. It seems to think %i is an actual filename rather than a wildcard. Argh!

Does it work with just one file and not using the wildcard? You may need to have all the files you wish to convert in the same folder as the converter executable. I only know I wasn't able to get 'frm2bmp' to work any other way.

Try this tool. It has a interface as far as I can remember and doesn't work over command line.
