Some questions

First time out of the vault
After playing F3 for a while and getting really bored of all its gimmicks (it´s the cool stuff stupid) and slightly retarded main quest, I find myself desperately wanting something more Fallouty. I´ve been following the F3C-mod with great interest, and also look forward to the future release of the G.E.C.K with moddable buildings, quests and dialogue. There have also been some other great strides, such as the music mods and the "Item Descriptions mod".

Still some questions nag me as to what extent people can set straight the typewriter-monkeys over at Beth. Will it be possible to:

-Replace the whole main quest with something interesting? Also, will it be possible to rebuild the existing side-quests?

-Cut out all voice-over for non-essential characters and add massive amounts of improved dialogue, at the same time opening up for int. and cha.
exclusive dialogue options (thus putting the low-int game-style back in)?

-Expand the map enormously with quests, factions and buildings (I know someone found that there is a lot of potential unused space on the game-map)?

-Add in vehicles and old-school fast-travel with encounters to make this larger map work?

-Make stealing as in F1/F2 with no karmic consequenses for stealing unobserved (merging karma and reputation better)?

-Greatly expand the different kinds of loot, pre-war stuff and buildable weapons?

-Make VATS into a turn-based "modus operandi" of the game (seems pretty obvious, but how much of VATS is hardcoded)?

-Change the combat music (I know the music can be modded, but the combat still gives me Zur).

This might just make the game playable, and not just for nostalgic reasons..

Yes for everything, with the possible exception of turn based, and old fashioned fast travel.

It's just the sheer amount of effort mostly which would prohibit such things from being done.
