I was recently mucking about with the campaign editor, and decided to delete the CORE/Entities folder after finishing to make sure I didn't accidently make any changes that might mess up the game.
Unfortunately, I didn't realize the Entities folder contained files modified by the patch which were flawed in the entities.BOS folder (ie improving the recruit pool, fixing the 2mm EC ammo, making the rocket launcher more powerful).
I played through a good section of the game until I realized my error (Jim Grimm's stats were crap compared to what the FAQ says he's suppose to have).
Anyway, my question is whether my savegames will be fixed after I reinstalled the correct .ent files. I know the status of recruits are included in the savegame, so changing their .ent file does nothing after you access them for the first time.
However, I'd like to know whether the rocket launcher/2mm EC ammo are also stuck at their pre-patch state, or if their status isn't stored in the savegame and thus the game will read the correct values off the .ent files when loading the save.
Any help will be appreciated, but I'll understand if no one can offer anything since the q. is pretty technical.
