Hey, it's driving me nuts! My latest game-save is at a point in combat where Cassidy fires, and everytime he fires everything freezes!!

I've waited up to seven minutes and nothing else happens, the game just locks, it takes like another four or five minutes of ALT+CTRL+DEL to bring up Task Manager in WinXP...could this be one of them DirectX audio bugs some games experience??

Cassidy the Dumbass just has to shoot, and after the bang! sound effect things just stop happening. AAAAAAAARGGGHHHH!!!!

Um, no...why reinstall?? I guess I'll have to -- if it doesn't do away with my game-save files, right?

Rrrrr...! Oh well, I suppose I could just go back to an earlier game-save -- like 80K XP pts. earlier!!!

No, it doesn't mess with your save games. 'Sides, you can always back them up.

Just try to reinstall.
