Seasick
First time out of the vault
So, I was awake one night (as my insomnia often instigates) and I got to thinking about New Vegas, specifically it's soundtrack. I felt that the one we got was lackluster and didn't have enough songs, so I figured i'd make a fun little thread where we all could chime in what we would've have liked to see.
Personally, I liked Mojave Radio. I just think that there were WAY too few songs. Here's what I would've liked for a line up:
"Blue Moon" - Elvis Presley
"Let's Ride Into The Sunset Together" - Tony Vice, Jerry Burnham
"Big Iron" - Marty Robbins
"Home on the Range" - Gene Autry
"The Wild West Is Where I Want To Be" - Tom Lehrer
"Will The Circle Be Unbroken" - The Carter Family
"Swing Low, Sweet Chariot" - Johnny Cash
"Blue Moon of Kentucky" - Bill Monroe
"The Wild Side of Life" - Hank Thompson
"That Silver-Haired Daddy Of Mine" - Gene Autry
"Give Me That Old Time Religion" - Jane Russell, Connie Haines, Rhonda Fleming
"Slave To The Blues" - Ma Rainey
"We Three" - The Ink Spots
"Guilty" - Al Bowlly
"Lonesome Town" - Ricky Nelson
"Boulevard of Broken Dreams" - Helen O' Connell
"The Gypsy" - The Ink Spots
"Dream" - The Pied Pipers
And, to contradict the more country-based Mojave Radio, you'd have New Vegas Radio, playing songs like:
"Swing Low, Sweet Chariot" - Tommy Dorsey
"On A Slow Boat To China" - Kay Kyser
"I've Got Spurs" - Kay Kyser
"Ain't Got a Dime To My Name" - Bing Crosby
"Pennies From Heaven" - Louis Prima
"Smile, Darn Ya, Smile" - Billy Cotton
"In The Mood" - Glenn Miller
"Let's Misbehave" - Irving Aaronson
"Why Don't You Do Right" - Benny Goodman
"Orange Colored Sky" - Nat King Cole
"The Clouds Will Soon Roll By" - Billy Cotton
"You're Getting To Be A Habit With Me" - Harry Edison, Buddy Rich
"20th Century Blues" - Noel Coward
"Sing, Sing, Sing" - Benny Goodman
"Minnie the Moocher" - Cab Calloway
"Papa Loves Mambo" - Perry Como
"Is You Is Or Is You Ain't My Baby" - Louis Jordan
"Held For Questioning" - Rusty Draper
"Ain't Nobody Here But Us Chickens" - Louis Jordan
"Blue Moon" - Frank Sinatra
"You're Nobody 'Til Somebody Loves You" - Dean Martin
"Ain't That A Kick In The Head" - Dean Martin
What would you like to have seen?
