Figured you fellas for 50's retro sci-fi experts, i could use your opinion. Do you think the "nose art (pinup girl)" fits in.

I think it should be placed on his arm, or something like that.. It makes him look too soft that way - or change it to something meaner, like a skull ;)
 
I agree that it looks funny on the belly, but it's not entirely out of place. cf: the paintings sometimes put on the side of WW2 planes/bombs. I assume that's what you had in mind fonx?
It looks good, but obviously I can't really tell without any real textures.
 
ahh, got alot of bad feeback on this, i will be moving the girl to the side of his belly, mabe that will make it a bit less clashing without loosing the spirit.
 
yeah, just like all the art i feature here, its all for a project of mine, called What if Meteors Prevail, its a fps inspired by old sci-fi movies of the 50's and 60's. Check out our website @ http://www.w-i-m-p.net (the current-tech section has some of my concept art).

There is some stuff in the public forums though not much as were concentrating on bulding a solid beta, before starting any real sort of buzz, though you guys are more than welcome to sign up and contribute, most of the team members visit often, so if you have any questions or comments feel free to post them there.
 
I like the idea. It's just that pin-up image in particular I don't really appreciate.

Basically, I think that's the wrong sort of pin-up art. I think a full-frontal image of a pin-up girl standing up, mimicking the posture of the suit, would be more appropriate.

like they said before the picture on the stomach is a no no. Try a tatoo with that on the left arm, for the front go for a faded logo. then your headed for gold mate.
