Spasm Gun, anyone got it?

I've seen this gun in another Web Site. Anyone picked this weapon up and if so is it any good.

just like rubber shotgun shells.. never found those in game

Nope, I've found it... Somewhere in the early stages of the game, before the first Super-Mutant mission. Now that I think it through, I think I got it from one of the raider missions. I didn't find it very interesting tho - didn't bother to try it out.
