Hi guys,

Just letting you know we are releasing Spr2Frm ver 1.0

This will let you convert your faavorite critters from Fallout Tactics into new FRMs for Fallout 2.

Trolle should be uploading it to the www.mutantsrising.com website verysoon. Also we will be posting a tutorial on how to make new critters and all the in's and out's of the process
 
Fallout 2 modding is too difficult for me, but would it be possible to convert frames into sprites for FOT, or would that be way too much work?

I miss the original dark fallout feel, such as having punks. It would be very nice if they could be shrunk into sprites for tactics for example. Damn engine change....
 
FOT sprites have 8 facings where as FO2 has 6 so you can go from tactics to FO but not the other way around. Besides which I no of no program that convert to SPR format

To who ever it was who gave Spr2Frm a 1/10 rating could you please provide feedback as to what was so wrong with it.
 
If you are lookign for some more sprites you could perhaps use some from Crusader no remorse/no regret as they have 8 facings, and varoius death sequences... Still I have no idea how to make them into SPRs, maybe someone at Team-X could help?

I have just uploaded the final version of Spr2Frm to NMA. IT the final version becuase I have basicaly finished converting all the critters. This package also contains the 'source' batch file that I made the exe out of.

Feel free to modify it so you can add support for vehicals etc...

If there was a good programer out there who wanted a project then you could get the source file for Spr2Gif, Gif2Frm and FrmCat from Team-X and combine them into one aplication using the method from Spr2Frm. It shouldnt be that hard to do, but I, not a prpgramer :?
