The mod is going to take place well after Return of the Jedi, so Coruscant is controled by the new republic.



The story.

Your characther will start out in the underlevels of Coruscant, doing small jobs for small cash/exp.
Eventualy, you'll decide to start accepting more dangerous jobs, such as scavenging the Coruscant
underworld and fighting the native fauna there. Once you reach level 3 or so, you'll have the opprotunity to pick your main job.
Join the military as a soldier
Begain work as a smuggler
Become a bounty hunter.

From this point, things will change.
You'll start to explore the world map, which you can only travel by starship, as you will have new maps, on new planets to visit.
If you choose to be a smuggler/bouthy hunter, you'll start out as a paid gun, who gets shuttled to a new planet (city) to take care of the job for the employer, using multiple ways to accomplish the mission.
Good: Smuggler/BountyHunter can decline some jobs, which is a good thing if it's a job you dont think youare ready for yet/dont want to do
Bad: You must supply your own weapons, and are simply paid in cash.
If you choose Soldier, you get several options, depending on your skills.
High computer skills could make you the hacker for your team, gun skills only will make you the point man.
Good: You recive training that gives you a boost to Exp, free guns (within reason)
Bad: You dont have that much leave time during which you can explore the city's and do mini quests, but get more bulk experince in battles.


The story still needs to be decided upon a bit more, but thats basicly it.

Here are the additonal FRMs I see as being needed for now.


Imperial StormTroopers
Imperial Officer
Imperial Pilot
Imperial tech
NewRepublic ground troops (slightly edited combat armor)
NewRepublic commandos (slightly edited combat armor)
New Republic fighter pilot
New Republic officer
New Republic tech
Droids. Lots of droids.

Jedi would use the new Jedi FRM I'm making, plus maybe a few more, for special encounters......

Civilan's would use preexisting FO FRM's, plus new one's if people make them.
Animals would use a mix of new one's, and old ones, plus some old FRM's recreated as a new creature with new stats.


The world map would look like this.

You would have a series of land area's seperated by space, which would act like water on the FO maps in preventing you from leaving one planet.

Plant's would have multiple city maps, with multple area's in them (9 is the max, Ibelive though I could be wrong.) and special encounters would come as you are traveling on the world map, which is only done when going to a differnt part of the planet (although some would have public transportation, which would move you directly to the new part.)

If not playing as a soldier, you would have to aquire passage on a transport for a fee to get to another planet, think of it like joining a caravan to a new city, but you're paying, and no random encounters (usualy)

Visualy, I would hope to port the laser effect from tactics over to FO2. Otherwise, use the regular ones from FO2.
However, the SW laser weapons would not cut anyone in half, and would at most trigger the burst death animation (for burst weapons).
Although Jedi would be able to trigger the cut in half laser animation.

Post your interst, and what you know how to do. Past work prefferbly.


We need the following ()

Scripters--- Being accostmed to FallOut scripting isnt required, but highly recomended.

Art--------- Making custom 2D art or altering previous images. Post some of your work for it to be judged.

3D & video-- At the moment, the project is noware near that far along. Planning will be done for such things later, if at all.

Writers----- Dialouge and story. SW knowledge is highly recomended, but not 100% required.
 
You could convert the critters from Fallout Tactics for some of the FRMs (including the driods)
 
Yup, that was planned to be a large part of what I 'bororw' from.

Although some, like R2 units, mouse droids, protocol droids, power droids, will need to be custom made (or nicked off of another SW game :p )
 
Ok, the Jedi FRM will be discussed here now as well, just FYI.

Jedi FRM, re aligning, otherwise done.
Sith (red saber) FRM. will be made from the Jedi FRM once it is aligned properly.
Next. Possibly StormTrooper FRMs converted from conbat armour FRMs

The bottom right could almost pass as a 'mouse bot'

The storm trooper you will have to do from scratch sorry, butI'm sure you could find a 3D model someone has already made, you will just have to get them to animate it for you
 
I'll see what I can do. The game is abandoneware so it should be fine to use them, I cant remeber if Corpse has already converted some of them? I will edit the images to all have the correct fallout pallete and then upload them if you would like, I will also adjust the scale to be correct (I think it was 70%)

Are there any map/critter makers out there who would like to make a quick test thingey with the new jedi FRM ?
