Starting up Fallout 1 again before New Vegas - suggestions?

Just cleared a couple games off my plate and there's nothing left to play. I'm not sure my pre-order will ship in on the 19th, so I thought I'd fire up Fallout 1 again... any suggestions? I was thinking of a sneak/melee character.

I really enjoy doing runs with Speech, Repair, and Science tagged-- those can be fun.

I've never tried other builds other than Small Guns and others but you could try making a more subtle character, not as much as fighting, maybe high Speech and Charisma.

I went with unnarmed/sneak/speach on max difficulty. Not to bad, Ian did most of the heavy lifting the first couple levels. Now I'm punching people in the nuts like a champ.
