Storage in Vehicles

I had the APC extremely stacked with gear after St Louis. I have not traded all of it yet but my question is.........Is it safe to leave it in the vehicle at the Base if I was to take the Hummer out for a spin? I have stuff stored in the lockers as well and that seems to have remained OK but I'm a bit concerned about leaving a couple of Browning M2's, rockets etc in the vehicle if they're not going to be there when I get back. Thanks.
 
I've always left my loot stored in my vehicles and haven't had anything disappear on me .
 
weapons, ammo, etc stored in vehicles and lockers won't disappear, but i found that if you load too much stuff into a vehicle (APC in this case), it won't move. unless it was a screw-up, which i think it was, because it was only a ton of equipment, and even after i unloaded it, the APC still wouldn't move.
 
The APC won't move because of a bug; install the patch.
 
Does anyone know what the max. weight for items stored is for each vehicle? I vaguely remember the hummer being maxed on my first time through, i.e. wouldn't let me put anything else into the vehicle's inventory.
