Strange Fallout 2 graphics glitch?

First time out of the vault
Hey, as a Fallout 3 and NV fan I thought it is about time to try the classics, so I bought Fallout 2 from Steam and installed it (Windows 7), and when I opened it, and the opening cutscene started playing, there was this strange graphics glitch, where there were many bright, pixelized colors.
I'm not very good with computers, so, if anyone knows please help!

Searching the forum should yield some threads on this. The Palette Stealer Suspender utility may be a solution.
