Summer Games Done Quick is a charity marathon from Speed Demos Archive that features speed runs from a variety of games and genres. This year the event is raising money for Doctor Without Borders. This event had a speed run for Fallout 1 and another for Fallout 3. Both runs were subject to bid wars where donors were able to bid on certain aspects of the run.

The first run was done for Fallout 1 by DrTChops. This was an any% run which means the runner aims to simply complete the game without any additional requirements. Saving and loading were used as well as using the start/end combat glitch to avoid combat.

The second run was for Fallout 3(PC) by BubblesDelFuego. This was also an any% run. Quicksave/quickload glitching allowed the runner to skip dialogue, clip through walls which allow some major sequence breaking, avoid enemy attacks and avoid fall damage. Also a cripple speed glitch was used to allow 160% run speed.
