The critics seem to like it....and the marketing was done in a way that the trailer doesn't tell you anything about the plot(this is good because i don't want to know anything about the plot before I watch a movie or it tends to suck *cough Spiderman 3 trailer giving entire movie away *cough)

So yeah...

I though it was pretty good, but the general opinion within the group I went with was mixed, though I just chalk that down to them lacking taste

I went to see it as it was the only big summer release I could find that wasn't based on a comic book or part 12 of a milked-to-death franchise.

Decent enough flick. The second half is a bit of a sappy letdown after a really good first half, but it's not terrible. I don't regret seeing it.
