super mutant....

It Wandered In From the Wastes
wallah.

just another quick sketch colored.

supermutant

its not atomically correct...

more of an orc if you ask me

what does make it a supermutant? having guns and being green? the supermutants we know dont have big pointy teeth and dont have pointy ears btw

hmz, i'm being a negativist again...

anyhow, with an other title i wouldve kinda liked it. good attempt...

well, this is a "special" super mutant. He was born like that.

Do you like it anyways? Even if its not a Mutant...?

It's not a bad drawing, though personelly, I'd be more interested in seeing a female super-mutant.

I'm also rather surprised no-one so far has even done a fic with a female super-mutant.

Does anyone know why?

From the shoulders up: rockin. Minus the teeth and ears.

From the shoulders down: okay.

Together: They don't look like they match up. It's like you drew two different pictures, cut them in half, and switcheroo'd the two bottom halves.

Sue is right about it not being a super mutant.

Deadeye loses the spelling bee, but wins the Trying-To-Go-Off-Topic Award.

Keep drawing, and you'll improve. I like your shading style, too.

Hey! I wasin't trying to change the topic! I simply expressed myself, followed by a thought that has been circling around before.

Why ARE a lack of female super-mutants drawings and/or fics?

Remember playing Fallout 2, and going through the military base? When you read in the info box, and it would say how the mutant got injured, or died? That was the only way you could tell it was a female. So there very well may have been pictures of female super mutants, but you can't tell. As far as fics go, well, how interesting could a story just about a female super mutant be?

I didn't say that a Fallout fic should be JUST about a female super-mutant, but included.

By the way, in Fallout1, when you talk to the Master about SM sterility, you can ask him to check if female super-mutants can become pregnant.

Good enough! But I've experienced that you are a really good drawer IvanJarvis! Maybe a bit miss with those teeth and ears, but keep it up, and some day you will turn out professional!

PS: Wonder how stupid it would have looked if I drew it! :P

Well, I liked it...except from the ears and teeth...

btw, take a look at Melchy's new sig :) guess who made it :wiggle:

[sarcasm] oh shut up Kahgan, you know I could have done it just as good as you [sarcasm end]

Heh....I've never used photshop before so... :look:

Well, having already seen your Hick and other drawings from your "new" thread, I'll just respond to this latest piece by saying I'm very impressed by the degree of professionalism in your artwork, especially at your age. Don't think I'm trying to be condescending or patronizing, either, since I'm only a few years older than you.

Your coloring is fantastic. It seems you've got contrast, shading, and shadowing down pat.

Some have noted that your proportions are out of shape. I'd recommend taking an art class in highschool, which is where you'll meet all the trippy, cool kids. I did, with almost nil artistic skill, and it was a blast. Besides getting all A's with your already impressive talent, you'll also learn proper techniques in proportion and get to learn about all the trippy, cool kids who grew up to be Edward Hopper and Andy Warhol.

Keep it up.

an anatomy class wouldnt hurt much either...it helps yuo to know where to put this muscle there and that bone here.

So would that class be down the hall from the typing class? If so, you two could go to school together!

left shoulder. right pec.

Go out and buy a action figurine. a really felxible one with heaps of joints. use as a drawing aid. your shading skills can only be improved by practice. the talent is there. invest in it =]
