T-Ray never gets new batteries

Okay, so I fixed the part of T-Ray's script that checks the player's inventory for batteries when the player asks for them. I also fixed the skill check so that with a high speech skill, you can convince T-Ray that you are Bishop's lieutenant when you are not Made Man: Bishop. I fixed the script to where you can actually ask for batteries on return visits to the Chop Shop instead of only being able to say "Nothing today, thanks. [sic]"

However, when I leave the Chop Shop and wait 2-14 weeks of game time for T-Ray to come up with new batteries, he *STILL* doesn't have any! I checked the scripts and compared niEldBox.int and niTryBox.int. It appears that the niTryBox.int script is indeed programmed to generate new batteries and Micro-Fusion cells every 7-14 game days. It seems to use the same style that niEldBox.int uses to regenerate items. However, the only difference is that niEldBox.int works and niTryBox.int does not. So what gives?
 
I think you might have Patch000.dat installed, niTRybox.int is present in the patch so remember the patch overrides any file you place in the data folder.
