Tactics: Playing as Deathclaw?

Sorry if this is on the wrong board, but I was thinking of going back and replaying Tactics and I was wondering: Is there any way to play as a deathclaw (as your main character)? Do I have to use the editor, and if so, how?

Easiest way if you don't want to mess about with the editors is to go to NMA's download page and get the 'Races mod'.
