First time out of the vault
hello all,
im new to the fallout scene, only getting the 2nd one about 2 months ago but im already hooked. the thing is i went to stirling scotland for my first semester of college and i cant play any games :? . anyway while browse in a local game store i found fallout tactics for about £10 (~$18) and i cant decide if i should pick it up. so heres the question...should i? i know the gameplay is different but i might like that sort of game. how is the story? enviroment? ect. also is the UK version going to be censored? thanks

Search. I'm not going to bother pointing out all of the thesis threads where the game is discussed in great details about the pros and cons of FO:T.

I do not think it is as good as Fallout or Fallout 2 but I think you should get it. The gameplay is different and there is not much to the storyline, in relation to the first two games, but for the money I think it is worth it. The game is about the Brotherhood of Steel, incase you did not know that already. It is not about the original Vault Dweller. I found it to be pretty fun to play but not as fun as the first two games. I would have rather had Fallout 3 but didn't we all?

I agree with Ozrat, please search to find more information on it. It is better to learn on your own then to rely on other peoples opinions.

For that cheap, i think you should just get it and see for yourself.

I never got much into that game, didnt play past the third mission or so, despite being a fan both of the 2 fallouts and tactics games in general (tough to be fair i never could really get into jagged alliance 2, so who knows)

As the diehard fallout fanboi i am i bought it when it was completly new for 50 bucks....

Only to find out it was nothing like the first two games. Tho it still have some entertainment value. It gets a little repetetive sometimes but I think it's OK. For that price you should deffinatly buy it!

Damnit Rosh, just when i was growing used to dislinking valve... and yeah, i'm all for putting that on the rules (tough it doesn't say a word about gravedigging, one of the most nefarious practices that take place in an open board)
