There's a thread about scenery and such crap, there's a one (or two, or more) about critters, so there should be one about THs.* So here's it.

I'm thinking about young female (:lol:) - WIPie of course, but you can get an overall view:

Yeah, I turned Mr. Scarface into this more or less sexy sugar... What miracles surgery can do these days... :o

* IIRC, Mr. Wolna had one, but about some stills, or something like that... and here we talk about fully animated THs.
 
I just rebuilt Cassidy’s head from RP 1.2. Originally the background was embedded in the image, so regardless of where you spoke to Cassidy in the game you had the same bloody background. Every frame was taken through Photoshop and masked, skin tones were re-colored and then the whole batch rebuilt as FRM’s, and I’m happy to say it looks 100% better than the first one. But I’m sorry you have to wait for RP 1.3 to see, still that’s one less annoying thing to contend.

As for the voice, well hopefully something will be done, (apparently all of the dialogue is already built into the game), but are there any sounds - to - lip file experts in the audience. Without a voice attached to their flapping mouths the characters don’t shine as brightly.

But Vic’s head must be built; the fat man needs a head.
 
Conti made us an ubber TH recently. In a perfect world I would like to see more TH for important FO2 characters, as well as voice acting.

I know it is heresy to say this but I am turning into an old fart now: I like my stories read to me :lol: so more pretty faces and believable voices would be nice; plus there are only so many times I can read the same dialogue. Is it just me?

Eimink on our team is the wav to lip master. There is a tool for that he made on TeamX

Kinda reminded me of Björk in one of her clip, hunter i think.

About the voice, if I may do one suggestion, there is this fallout machimina made by Drakortha; some of the voices actors in his team are very good, as good as you can have in an unprofessional project, if you ask me.
And since it's a fallout project too, maybe some of them might be inclined to help...

could've saved you a lot of time,. I had the original source files with no background.

She have no bone in nose :lol: Besides, I need to put some clothes which isn't compatible with tribal-ish critters. I'm thinking about Metal Armour, since there's no TH wearing it (I'm curious what result I'll get). Or maybe Power Armour? :ugly:
 
Cassidy looks crappy because of lack of dither thingy, source renders are needed to apply it, fix whole frame moving syndrome, and convert to FRM.

Actually I did add a noise filter to the image, but it’s difficult to tell with such a small picture. Initially I thought I went over board because the face looked too dotty, but in game (and that’s where it counts), it looks pretty good. The animation is another story, Cassidy is too jerky with his movements, but until someone does a better version we are stuck with him, if I remember correctly he is an option on the installer (correct me if I’m wrong). In general I’m grateful that someone tried to build him.

There is also a complete synchro in german, made by Ex FON Member Mafio.

Also do not worry about the quality that are old wip pics, only.

- left: dither added - results are very good,
- middle: no dither - utter shit,
- right: noise added to no dither image - results aren't better.

Of course, I'm not saying that it's your fault or something like that. Just pointing out that without source renders any visible improvement isn't possible. Sure, some skilled 2d painter could re-paint whole thing frame by frame, but this is a different story to talk...

it is not a tatoo. ;) it'S a brandmark. ;)
