Targeted Shot - why am I unable?

Hmmm, it worked before, (or was that in Fallout 2?) but now, neither Farsight nor Dillon has the ability to make a targeted shot!

They're both great snipers, and none of them has Fast Shot, so why can't they make those very needed targeted shots?

(I am supposed to rightclick on the weapon to change shoot-mode, like single/burst, right?)

When in TB and single fire mode there's a small circle at the bottom of the frame, click on that or press 'T' to make a targeted shot. If you're playing in CTB right click on the circle and the targetting screen will come up and you can change the area you wish to shoot at, otherwise the default target is the torso.

Thank you - I couldn't find it in the manual or on this site, so...
What is the best part to aim at - the eyes?

I would go for the eye's. Seems to be the most sensetive location plus if you can score a critical and blind your opponent then thats a good bonus.

Was just wondering, if you shoot both arms and manage to cripple them then can the target still shoot back or can he/r not shoot back due to crippled limbs?

I like the nards as a target. It usually has a good chance to knock them down. The head does a good job too. Specially if you are using a 12 gauge SLUG >=) then you can run over and bash away if you have time. Anyways thats my 2 cents. Thanks (Kyle Logan)

Oh! I forgot. Mutants are weakest to the eyes I find. Most creatures have their own weak points. (duh beating a dead horse -.-) (Kyle Logan)
