Before I dare upload this to Youtube; I'm going around the forums and asking what users think of my new piece. It's an experiment of sorts, but this is just a jumpstart. Taskmaster's my chosen music name thus I have made more pieces. I will focus on many genres which include trance, techno and chillstep mainly. So please comment or criticise-Thank you.

It's a relaxed version of dubstep, so it's not heavy and that loud.

the opening reminded me of The Dream Traveler – Time (or the opening of a lost boys sound track song)... then it started (:34) to sound like music from Messiah 21st Century Jesus.

dont care for the beeps or disjointed sounds at around 3:40


overall I like much of the music, but it sounds more like a mix of songs than a song. I would break it into several songs and work from there.

I mostly agree with what Willis said. The beginning reminded me of something familiar, but I couldn't place it, and I didn't care for the beeps around 3:40. Not really my cup of tea overall, but not a bad mix either. 5/10 seems fair enough with plenty of room for improvement. I would mix in some classic video game music to give it some nostalgia value.

Yep, created some patterns myself. I have cubase 5 but that confuses me.
