description: This trainer allows you to swap weapons without the use of the button.

Use this key
"<" to switch to the left. (press twice too be sure)
">" to switch to the right. (press twice too be sure)

note: the game does not show which weapon you really have selected.

What exactly is useful about the weapon/item swap button being disabled?

Maybe there's something I'm not seeing...

To prevent you from starting a fight with the wrong weapon.

I don't think, that this is useful at all. If I start a fight, then I see my weapon first, because I click on it. If I deactivate the swap and start a fight with the wrong weapon, then I have a problem, because I need to open the inventar first, to change the weapon.

Thankyou Lexx for making me aware of this. I will look into it and see what I can do!

I think what he is saying is that there doesnt appear to be any real advantage to using this mod. I cant say that I have ever used the wrong weapon by mistake before. Besides I can just push the red button a second time to change back if I did.

I wonder if it's possible to redesign the interface to fit the Resolution mod so that the red button could be desactivated and both weapon slots stood side-by-side, kinda like in Fallout Tactics?

Try this http://www.badongo.com/file/9941931

1. run fallout2
2. get in game
3. run Horn
4. Click on the left or right button to activate that item slot for usage.

Close to what you wanted?
