The best mods so far?

So, if anyone is still playing for some reason, what are your picks for best/essential mods so far?
The quality of the mods right now seems to be pretty crappy with most being terrible retextures, but there are a few nice ones.
Wasteland Ordnance adds a few nice weapons that don't look like garbage. Well balanced, too, not overpowered.
Similarly, NCR Veteran Ranger Armor adds proper armor that doesn't look shite.
And, of course, since Bethesda failed to add it despite all their Blade Runner worship:
That Gun, because it's necessary.
There's probably some really essential mods for fixing the game, but I don't believe in fixing the game with mods. Mods should be for cosmetics and fluff, unless they're total conversions.

These are the ones I use:

Dude, you know you can edit your posts, right?
Yeah I do, but sometimes I notice that when someone edits theirs, I dont notice it when I am looking at the thread, it doesn't show up, and about 3 days later I see their edit.

Anyhow, what do you think of my suggestions?

Any mod that disables the voiced protagonist and removes the dialogue wheel is good in my book.

Also any mod that improves the weapon sounds because some of the sounds are just plain mediocre especially for a first person action shooter like Fallout 4.

Also Robot Home Defense looks interesting.

So is anyone around here really deep into modding and knows what is possible? I noticed a strange lack of actually new animations in the mods out so far. I think I heard someone saying that the engine's animation format is quite impenetrable or something like that, which is why modders have to make do with existing animations (which is very noticable in many weapon mods where the clip is inserted sideways like with the assault rifle).
Can anyone confirm that? This might make modding somewhat limited.

I read some ppl on Nexus say because Bethesda use a new format of animation in FO4 that requires animators having Havok SDK x64, but it's not free (actually quite expensive if my memory serves me right). That's why current weapon mods are all using default animations (the most used one is probably the SMG anims)

NovaRain is correct, the new anims use havok and the tool available has the export broken. Without other tools (no one reverse engineered it yet so not gonna happen soon) or that export function fixed there is nothing we can do to make new anims work  and yeah it is really expensive.
