The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth/Afterbirth

I don't really want to bump the thread for the original game after it being dead for so many years.

Anyway, yes. The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth just got a major expansion last Friday, October 30th. I managed to crank out Real Platinum God in the base game before adding anything on. So far, Afterbirth has just been a blast. Greed Mode is a really cool way to play the game, and cuts down on time too. You can go through an entire Greed Mode in what seems to be about 20 minutes, instead of the 40+ it takes to go through the complete paths in the base game.

So... yeah, anyone else playing it?

Sometimes, when I try to enter the blue womb, it just crashes.

I find the way that the greed donation machine stops at 109 to be, well, shite. So many opportunities wasted.

I also find the variety of new items and pickups to be lacking. A HUGE amount of them are those shitty babies you get in multiplayer!

I keep hearing about the Blue Womb glitch, and I have no idea why. I've never had it happened, and I make a point of going to Blue Womb whenever possible because I like the fight. But on the other hand, my rig is stupidly overpowered for a game like Isaac. So, it could be an issue that I've inadvertently solved by throwing hardware at the problem.

The items though, I would disagree. The new items I've found are pretty cool. Empty Vessel seems just crazy powerful and rewards a playstyle I already make heavy use of. As for the babies... well yeah, those are underwhelming. I have no chance to ever play multiplayer anyway, so even the babies that are unlocked in the normal game are useless to me beyond being a secret to get.
