The Cathedral & The Followers of the Apocalypse

I have a question about the Followers of the Apocalypse and the Cathedral. As it seemed to me in FO, the FotA are against the CotC (Children of the Cathedral). I was thinking about that and I wanted to know why they have such a hatred against the CotC? Is it just their way of thinking and their plans or is it something else?

If there is some place on NMA where this is told I would like to know that.

They have seen the Nightkin, they have confirmed, that Children's hospitals are stocked with weapons and ammunition, they've seen the zombies... and they had a contact inside, named Laura. The code was Red Rider, a pretty obvious refference to Wasteland. She had the dirt on the Cathedral:

While ostensibly like the Children of the Cathedral in being dedicated to the cause of spreading peace throughout the wasteland, they are suspicious of the latter's motives. Talius, a ghoul-like mutant partially exposed to FEV by the Master's forces, found refuge among the Followers, and helped them understand the true nature of the Children.
