The Difference??

Whats the difference between the US Marshalls and the FBI. If I'm to understand correct both of them can do there stuff all over USA. So what is the difference, except I guess the marshals don't have the X-files :-).

Well, not be rude or anything but either you American people don't know to mcuh about your countrys different "police-types" or you just don't want to answer...

I'm not too sure, but I wanna say that the FBI is more Federal imergencies and national security kinda stuff, whereas the Marshall's tend to go after criminals. But I don't know.

The FBI chase criminals that cross state lines, steal federal property... etc. Basically, any crime in which the federal government is directly harmed is handled by the FBI; they're essentially federal police. Again, I'm not sure what US Marshalls do.
