I'm sure everyone knows what a Family Tree or a Distro Timeline is.
Why?
Well, here's the general idea: A Fallout distro timelone containing all (most?) the important feature changes.
Something like this:
I know I've prolly missed dozens of tiny patches, mods and addons, but this is the general way it goes, right? (The Mega Restoration Mod Project is just my wish )
In case of Fallout 1 it's a huge mess, we've got many different tiny addons, many different patches, and a combination of those in a few huge mods.
Personally, I'm totally lost with so many files, and the fact FO keeps me from playing with "a shroud of unrefreshed blackness" bug, is depressing...
Anyways, here's my idea for a simple information page.
As detailed as possible family tree of addons/patches/mods/etc. for both FO's, to view - which ones belong to which, which ones begun when, etc.
Impossible?
I dare to say not, seeing all the helpful enthusiastic people here, that know everything about the Fallout world!
Let's show those Leenux Lovers what a distro timeline looks like!
