Famous people are not limited to A list actors. Feel free to share anyone you met over the years that you believe deserve recognition and tell us where their from and your experience with them. Example: writers, directors, musicians, actors, artists, game developers .

I was at the Type O Negative Cd release party at Duff’s on Thursday and got to hangout with Mistress Juliya (she had that show on Fuse called Uranium where she went around interviewing bands and then they showed music video's in between.), Pete Steele (front man) and Kenny Hickey (guitarist). Julyia was bartending so I got to ask her stupid Trent Reznor questions and took a cell phone pic which was later lost thanks to my clumsy friend. Pete treated me to a glass of wine while we talked, then after a while we both got really drunk and had a misunderstanding which I actually got an apology for last night.

Edit: If your interested I wrote a more elaborate description of Thursday in my blog “Drunky’s Log 16” which you can find here: http://www.myspace.com/vondrunky

I also met Alex Gray a year ago at CoSM he’s this artist that did album art for bands like Tool and Nirvana among other things. I was drunk and actually convinced him to modify a painting he was doing at the time (nothing special just a painting of his daughter painting a painting). His work is pretty trippy, you should google him.

I've met Bumblefoot ( aka Ron Thal ) back in 2002. He is the nicest guy ever. I have quite a bunch of signed cd's and on Christmas Eve of 2003 he even sent me an email with a link where I could download one of his cds that was at the time unreleased ( a lounge tribute to Outkast ). He now plays guitar in Guns n' Roses.

When I was about seven or eight, my brother and I met Billy Barty- AKA the world's most famous little person. He was about as tall as my brother- who was four or five at the time- and he was incredibly nice as well.

I wish I could list my ex-GF's run-ins with celebs; she's had way more than I have.

Oh, I've got an "almost-saw:" someone I was dating saw Ben Stiller in a Rite-Aid or something like that. I was in the car, unfortunately, with a huge headache because I'd lost my glasses several hours before. I also didn't have a dry shirt (luckily this was during summer) so I also was nekkid from the waist up, and therefore couldn't go in regardless.

I met Jon Nödtveidt of Dissection(The famous swedish band).
He was in prison for 7 years for shooting and killing a guy.after his release they started touring europe again after 7 years.at the european tour i couldn't meet him because i didn't had any access to the backstage.
Later i managed to go and see Dissection again at a Festival in austria called "Kaltenbach Openair".they were the last band that were playing that night.so after they were finished i went there and ask the security wether i could go to the the backstage or not and the guy just let me in !
we talked a bit and we took a photo together. It was a night i will never forget !
1 year after that he blew his own head with a shotgun ! So i guess that was an opportunity that will never come again .

Several (not too huge) celebrities came to Northwestern University to give speeches / meet students (especially if they are alums). There I've met Stephen Colbert, Zach Braff, and Mike Reiss (one of the oldest writers/producers for the Simpsons and creator of the Critic).

Julia Louis-Dreyfus gave a speech at my graduation (but I didn't actually meet her though).

Don Rosa. Makes the best current Donald Duck and scrooge comics. Had to stand in line for an hour, but he signed a comic for me. Awesome to meet him since I had admired his comics since I was old enough to read the donald duck comics.

I met the daughters of Putin.

It was a few years ago. They know one of my girlfriend's old classmates, which led to them visiting my high school for a day. His dad apparently worked for the man a while back. With what I have no idea but they have russian signs saying something about dangerous dogs all over their backyard.

Well I used to work at a country club up here in the capitol of california, and I was privy to serving and chatting with a few senators and representatives, bill gates stopped in once, had a few random actors, lots of non-famous multi millionaires who owned empires knew me by first name and talked to me daily, and I also met Arnold Schwarzenneger. Once when I was a kid, one of the many step parents I went through ws good friends with the guy who invented the Power Glove for the NES, and he babysat me and showed me all his neat inventions and games he had created :P

Adrian Lamo, the infamous "Homeless Hacker", lives down the street from me and he and I were really good friends until some rather unfortunate events destroyed that friendship.

last "world class" celeb I met & had a chat with was Garry Kasparov.

nice guy and pretty relaxed for someone that has half the Russian elite on his ass.

You tell people that? (I'd keep it a secret lol)

Hmm no one really famous i think, some pro athletes from Seattle's teams, I shook hands with Jay Buhner on his last Buzz night, met a Japanese Embassador, Pappy Boyington's ex girlfriend (lol), I know boat racing legends Billy Schumacher and Jean Theoret, some of the guys from the Invisible Children movie, some of the blue angel pilots, uhh... my future self ;)

Matt Leinart, Emmit Smith, Darnell Dockett (I actually talked some shit to him )and a few other random AZ Cardinals.

I met Penny Hardaway when he was on the Suns and they were training in Flagstaff.
