The forum is dead then???????
This is my 1st ever post for I only just recently dicovered this site and well may be my last.

It is quite sad really because this is a good forum. But you can't keep posting questions about Fallout 1 or 2 and I'll like to ask who still plays them? I have already played through them like over 5 times each and I doubt I will again.

Fallout Tactics is a game for the fans only I think. Newbees to the Fallout World won't shine to it and it seems like its already starting to die. So i guess we can only speculate about Fallout 3 (If there will ever be one)

So here is my question; Has anyone tried puttin the Brahmin Armour (gained from a special encounter) on a Mutant or Robot in your squad? I haven't tried it yet but apparantly they dont turn into a brahmin like Humans do and so have brilliant Resistances yet can still attack. If this is so it is a very good thing indeed.

fallout tactics is for people who enjoy shooting stuff and "stratigically" killing things with a group of people, ifi wanted to play a game like that i'd play Xcom or something like that, cuz even xcom is more fun then tactics. and im not a "newbie" either

Yes I come here often too well since I discovered this site like 2 days ago. I'll like to ask exatly what do you mean you play them religiously, any sane person wouldn't play Fallout over 10 times, I mean I've seen and done EVERYTHING in the fallouts (Well not tactics.........yet) and I'm afraid to say even though Fallout 2 is one of the best games I've ever played, you can only get so much out of them. I'm sure that you don't play them because its part of your faith, If that were so wouldn't you be bored as hell from it, try some other games.

The fact that Fallout Tactics;
"is for people who enjoy shooting stuff and stratigically killing things with a group of people" is not so because its highly linked to the previous games, as you said yes I'll rather play Xcom. Yep its a fact, Fallout Tactics is for fans only if you want fun out of it. Thats why it hasn't done too well in the shops.

And yes I gathered that ur not a newbie :-)

I'll still like to no if anyone has done what I have asked in my previous question, I'll quite like to know.

i just enjoyed the roleplaying part of fallout more then the "shoot everything" part

Yeah I totally agree with you, the actual roleplaying on Fallout is brillaint and really enjoyable, thats why Fallout Tactics doesn't appeal to me as much as the others. I just hope they don't make the same mistake with Fallout 3 (If there will be 1)
