The Four Horseman

Recently came across these guys, took one look at their HP and ran for my life. Now my characters order is all messed up, has anyone worked out how to get it back to normal. My main guy is now one of the recruits. I'm using the new patch I don't think it is a bug. :-(

Yep I think I figured it out. If you take the perk........ummmmm crap I forgot the name.

awareness (I had to go look at the game. duh) it allows you to see their hitpoints. It says they are almost dead. So I healed them. Nothing happend to my characters. :) also if you look in the mission specific random encounter folder it has 8 sprites 4 evil 4 good. I think by healing them it turns them into the good sprites. I don't really know. Maybe all you have to do is take the evil sprites out of the folder.. he! that'd be funny.

I didn't worry about it to much thought if I didn't drive over the square it wouldn't come up, silly me. It's back again :-( I tried your suggestion but after healing them to about 18k thought this is going to take ages, and not sure if it will work as my character order changed as soon as I got on to the screen. Does it just change back when you get them up to full HP? I now have Rage as my group leader, there must be a quicker way around this, did u use a trama pack or just doc and medic kits ?

Just as in St. Louis, if you stimpack the fallen squad and heal them fully by the stims, it doesn't make any changes and they just don't get into the APC.. Mark that I had to go to a bunker and find doctor's bags of some sort to heal them all...

Try doctor bags and med kits, but not stims..
 
Have you tried taking your team back to the recruit master? Remove everyone but your character from the squad and you should be bumped back to the number one spot. You can then add your team back. Let me know if this works. I actually havent met with the Horsemen yet.
 
Yeah one of the first things i tried, but Rage is my group leader and u can't take him out of the party, so it dosn't work. I can put myself in the recruit pool though.

The best solution to this problem is to make sure u save when cruising the wasteland, if u run across the 4 dung eaters, go back to your last save and than go to the nearest base, get rid of everyone in your party, than go back to them (sugestion made in this forum). This way your party dosn't get messed up and the 4 dung men are on the map, so u don't run into them some where else, like what happened to me. I was lucky the 2nd time I ran into them they were 3 squares from delta bunker :-)
