Vault Dweller1

First time out of the vault
from.

HELLO. How are you? I'm a coupon playing fallout one and I'm having this problem where my game is crashing every time I leave the gun runners. I have the fallout collection (Fallout one, Fallout two, and Fallout Tactics) which I purchased from Ebay. Been pretty excited to play through these games which I have never had the chance to actually beat for one reason or another. I think many years ago I was having the same kinds of problems and I just gave up. lol.

The version I have installed is 1.2 (It is what was originally installed from the disc) and the only mod I have is the NPC mod in which I can give armour and combat directions to my followers. I hope I don't have to start the whole game over with new mods, that would suck! The followers I have are Katja and Ian. Katja has an overloaded inventory, somehow you can barter excess weight to the npc's. So far this hasn't done anything to my game, as far as I know. But maybe it is? I'll try to play around with that right now actually, and see what happens.

THERE ARE SOME SPOILERS BELOW THIS AND I DON'T KNOW HOW TO HIDE THEM.

This happened a lot earlier, when I was trying to save the brotherhood initiate. I just gave up because everytime I killed all the badguys and left it would crash. Well, the game was cheating me so I cheated the game and got some power armour BY ENTERING ATTACK MODE WHEN I SHOULD HAVE BEEN SNEAKING. :boy: I HATE DOING THAT.:revolution: That's all I really needed anyways so I could take on some Deathclaws and finish some quests in the Boneyard.

Is there anybody out there who can help me?

Thank you,
Your friendly internet coupon,
Vault Dweller1.

Internet fist bump.

Which version of NPC mod are you running? Unofficial patch 1.3.5 needs to be installed prior to the latest NPC mod 3.5, according to the readme file.

I must have downloaded the 3.0 version as there is no readme.

I simply gave up trying to do this, loaded an older save, and got what I was looking for through sneaking and stealing from a locker. When I install fallout two I will have to install some serious patches and mods, just so I can play the game as I desire and not deal with all the crap. It seemed to run better than fallout one anyways iirc.

Also, thank you for your reply! I appreciate it.

One question regarding my miscellaneous options for the forum. What does it do if I select: Require "what the f*** is this for a s***?" to see content or attachments?
