And all those Special Features to films you like.

I learned of this movie (The Fisher King) because of a serial killer due to some crime show that my wife was watching. It is totally departed from such things apart from one triggering event, but it did make me click the button, only to be absorbed into a modern day Knights of the Grail love story involving synchronicity and delusion.

When I was younger and media was more...precious and hard to find, special features were my life. Now I find myself hardly bothering.

There have been some commentary tracks that were fun to watch the film itself with. Conan the Barbarian with commentary from Arnold and John Milius commenting together was funny. There's a scene in the movie where Arnold has sex with a witch, Arnold commented "Yea I fucked her" or something, it's really funny stuff. :D

The Alien Trilogy - pack with Alien movies 1 - 3 has a good commentary and specials, I don't really care about the Alien movies that came after part 3.

Schwarzenegger commentary is always fun. He always has this childlike glee about any scene :D
And the Alien Quadrilogy DVD set is awesome, yeah.

Oh yea Quadrilogy, been a while. I sold mine at one point. :( Might get a blue ray/4k one, maybe with new & better specials.

Apocalypse Now has a really nice making of -documentary called "Heart of Darkness" or something, pretty good interviews etc. made by Coppola's wife at the time I think. Oliver Stone has a really nice commentary for JFK.

I saw JFK when it came out in a cinema. It was the full lenght cinema version with an intermission. It's one of the best cinema experiences that I've ever had, and that film hasn't aged at all really, maybe even gotten better with time.

My Quadrilogy discs kinda suck, though, they tend to skip and lag a lot.

Checked my movie shelf, Raging Bull special edition seems to have nice extras, a 26 minute long documentary about the making plus a really nice leaflet with stuff about the movie, black and white pics etc.
