The Million Dollar Caravan Run (has anyone else found this?)

My brother and I have just recently picked up playing Fallout 2 again, for the hell of it, and as you do during the game we made sure we got our fair dosage of caravan runs.

But one such caravan run proved to be... well...
more than we expected! So the story goes...
we encountered another caravan run, we slaughtered the other caravan guards....
we looted them as usualy, but!

what was unbelievable was each guard had $99,999 in their inventory, not only that when you took all and went back in they had more, we ended up with a few million dollars as far as we could work out.

Has anyone else been on such a.... prosperous.... caravan run? Or did we encounter a glitch of some kind?

Here you wanted pics, it turned out I was wrong my brother encountered a caravan run, but not while he was on one.

Sorry that i didn't spot this one earlier but the *money caravan* is a well known bug. It ussually hits when you encounter a caravan, wether your at that point on one or not is not important, from VC to Redding. Allthough it might be possible to encounter the same bug if you take one from NCR. It might be that going to Redding is the trigger for this bug.

*sigh*

It seems just about everything in Fallout 2 is bugged. I mean, just go on a caravan mission once, and you'll find bugs galore. I love the game, but too many problems.
