So Old I'm Losing Radiation Signs
Since tommorow (20th of july) will mark the 35th anniversary of our first walk on the moon, let's stir up a debate.

Was the first moon walk a fake or was it real?


I say it was real.

Oh, okay, it isn't really a moon, but it's close enough.

PS: It was a fake.

PPS: UNdoubtedly they've landed on it by now, though.
 
Real or not, there's no chance whatsoever of seeing lions and tigers on the moon. Boring.

I don't believe the "OMG! It was all a Judeo-Mason cosnpiracy!" thing, either. However, one never knows what Fascist Capitalist Swines of The System are able to fake in a movie studio...
 
I rather not think of the moon landings since each time i do it i become so very very jealous of those people that has walked the moon, and so very angry that it is not likely to happen to me.

Eh, I find it hard to believe they could have faked it and not have any real evidence or witnesses come out yet. It would have been stupid to fake it in any case, because if the USSR ever found out the US would look so ridiculous it would never be able to create any credible anti-communist propoganda again: "Sure, we faked one of the most important landmarks in human history in order to gain a PR edge over the Soviets - but honestly, communism is worse! Oh come on, please believe us!"
 
I'm pretty sure we really got up there. I've also heard some people say they wouldnt' think its too unlikely that the russians got there first though, but lacked the capacity to bring them back, so kept quiet. The idea of one day finding some ancient heroic but very dead cosmonaughts on the moon is a little chilling to think about.

Ah, but it was the Vikings who landed, as the purity of thier aryan blood allowed them to walk on the moon without suits or equipment and breath radiation.

However, it WAS a Byzantine rocket.
 
Though there are some disturbing indications that the whole Moon walk thing might have been fake, I'm pretty convinced the landing occured in 1969. It was a major project that involved a lot of people - if it was fake, don't you think some hard evidence would have leaked by now?
 
The other thing i can't figure out (although i'm sure one of the techno-geeks at nma willinform me) Is why can't they direct Hubble toward the moon and show them the landers?

Probably because the focal length of the telescope means it cannot see anything within our solar system; it would be out of focus. Probably, or else the landers just aren't there to see :look:

The explanation is simple - the Dark Side is too strong on the Moon and it would disrupt the sensors. They need Geordi LaForge to reverse sensor polarity, which he can't do since he was assimilated by the Borg (who have formed the Dark Alliance with Cardassia, Sith Empire, Mordor and Microsoft, in an effort to thwart the Byzantine-cionist plot to trajectorate the Moon and use its resources to corner the global cheese market). Now, what we should do is acquire Doomslayer Broadaxe of Shimmering +9 and use it to shatter the Compelling Orb which keeps the Planes aligned, and bridge the rift between Abyss and Celestia, which will cause increased tachyon emission, sufficiently strong to destroy Naga Sadow's midichlorians and thus weaken the Dark Side's grip over the Moon, and enable the Hubble's Lenses of Greater Photographing in conjunction with Anduril's blade to create adequate images of the satellite's surface.

Or we could just send Frodo and King Arthur to kill Naga Sadow.

Duh, there's The Moon and that's it. The others aren't The Moon, they're satellites. It's like saying there are other Suns out there. No. They're stars. Sun and Moon are specific names. Ha.


It was obviously real, by the way. Stupid to lie about it. In fact, stupid to go there.
