The New Vision MOD 1.1 by Team X

Excellent... excellent. I am currently giving this a test run, and so far, solved a few quests, which I have to say make Klamath and Arroyo worth playing through.

Also the added dialouge and characters make it far more exciting... The Farm house is a nice touch. But that is as far as I am. Haven't been able to get into the blocked sewer ways? Any hints?

I thought it was great also. Not much talk going on about this mod - if you haven't tried it yet give it a shot. It's fun.

I've just fired it up myself. Does anyone have any idea what stats you need in order to become a Shaman? I bumped up my Intelligence and Perception to 8 and Hakunin still instructed to become a warrior instead.

I got the shaman quest while playing a female character - perception and intelligence both lower than 8, but I think my agility was 9. Oh, and speech tagged. 8)

Maybe you should ask the Team-X people. Man, they are good. I never really liked the whole Klamath part, and the added safe house was a sweet edition to the game. :D No sense spoiling it for the first timers.

Haven't run into any special encounters as yet, but one can only hope.

Oh, well, when Celestial gets back into play, maybe the three of you all can make a super Fallout Patch. So till Mutants Rising, Fallout Resurrection and YUROP are done, keep up the good fight!

*I* personally like the thought of a FO2 expansion pack more than a total conversion, it take a lot less time and can make a great game a little bit better

I am playing through FO2 now with the weapons expansion (alpha testing). Just having these 80 new weapons make the game interesting, something new to try. I have the new weapons in the shops, and they are randomly selected rather than the original restocking scripts which are static. Some of the random encounters use new weapons now too. I started with a machete in klamath and that was great for rat kills. Then I used a 9mm beretta for a while, and now using a steyr assault rifle. Things are working good so far. Beta should be released very soon. Maybe you can combine this with your mod that has all the different areas.

This mod is really nice.

It doesn't depend on your stats that much... you have to find another way to kill the plants - without violence. Like Hakunin said, use your brain

Yup, figured that one out eventually.

Now I've got a tainted aura on the day of the Initiation and Hakunin says 'a virtue will help cleanse' which makes me think about karma which is +20. Could it be those few radiation points I got from eating a fruit?

I am not even sure about Initiation day... But I found another place aside from the Farm. I found a Shack which is a hidden locale (how you find it, ask around in Arroyo).

A very interesting locale indeed.

But Team X implemented some features that make this mod stand out... The farm will show you, and as I said before Klamath isn't boring anymore.

Wild find a way to intergrate this with ur project. Man, it would be a worthy sight... And if anyone adds B21, make the Bunker hard to find or at least dangerous.

Superb! I'm loving every dialog line of it!

Has anyone tried explosives on the rocks blocking the sewers?

BTW does anybody know of a similar Mod. One that changes the quests and dialogues like New Vision does?

Hey guys!

I was the beta tester/english consultant for this nifty mod.

Yeah I noticed they have put alot of things (codewise) into fallout that I never realised could be done.

Like the Shaman's mortar, and the Warrior perk that allows skiinning of molerats.

(Shamans Mortar can make several items)

Also yeah Exposives on the lower western warehouse will get you access to the sewers....(err rat caves I mean)

Whats your Karma, I think for Shaman it had to be 30.

Also did you kill any good civilians?

Nope, didn't kill anyone innocent. My karma is 25 though, I think I either need to kill some more geckos or find a quest to solve. (already found Smoke)

How do you make the weapon from Hakunin?

The one that requires the Embryo of evil or something like that....

U need a radscorpion tail and a shooting seed from an evil plant, if I remember right. If can turn a NORMAL spear or knife into "envenomed" spear or knife. Spear does 3-18 and knife 1-15.
