Do society a favor by not renting anything from Blockbuster. Their monopoly has gone far enough. Honestly, i can't believe how many great video stores had to close down because there's like 5 Blockbusters in one zip code.
But they carry a lot of movies right? Oh well sure. But of course, there is a constant need for space for all the new mainstream hollywood gold. So if you had your heart set on renting an older movie or perhaps something non-Hollywood, you're kind of out of luck. Oh but hey, at least there's more room for the 50 DVDs of Catwoman right? Yep, that movie really needed to fill 2 whole shelves.
And hey, are you tired of thinking of movie genres. Lackluster's got your back. They just lump everything into 3 basic categories: Drama, Comedy, Action. And it all makes perfect sense, unless we're talking about a non-American movie. In that case they all go under drama...or nowhere at all. Those foreigner films are just too weird to comprehend anyway.
But wait, there's more. Are you a hardcore Christian concerned about the content of movies? Have no fear since the American Family Association is working closely with Blockbuster to ensure there's a slim chance of you being offended. You won't find any movie with the evil NC-17 rating in their holy stores.
Ok sure, but what about all those late fees? Don't worry. As all those commercial said since last year, there are no more late fees! None what so ever! Blockbuster now does you a favor by actually making you buy your late rental at full price. But hey....that's not a late fee, right?
