Ragemage
Wept for Zion
So lately I've been enjoying the hell out of Pillars of Eternity. It's just SO good seeing tons and tons of dialogue again after playing the likes of Fallout 4 for a couple of months. Everything in Pillars is just beautifully written, and there's so many choices!
Anyway, I know the game has 2 DLCs based off Icewind Dale called The White March, but they're both priced at 15 dollars each. Combined, that's more than I paid for the base game. So what I wanted to know is, do people think the DLCs are worth it? Easter's coming up and I usually get a 50 dollar Steam gift card for that, so I could potentially get them, but I'm just not sure. The "features" list on the Steam page doesn't make them sound that spectacular. It sounds like a lot of stuff that should've been added to the base game in a patch, not through paid DLC. Like this one: "Party AI: Now you will have the option to set AI scripts for your party, allowing you to focus on controlling the characters you care about most."
Can anyone confirm if the DLCs are good or not? Thanks for any feedback.
